On your forum: How to replace phpBB's logo with your Deadlock logo.

Create a new logo: an image file to the same dimintions as ppBB's logo
(139 pxls width x 52 pxls height) Convert it to GIF file and rename it the same as phpBB's logo image -" site_logo.gif" (You can't just resize yours, I tried already...it's too small. )

Replace that file in phpBB's root_directory / styles / prosilver / imageset

Go to your phpBB's admin control panel

Under OPTIONS, next to PROSILVER (or whatever thyme you use) click EDIT

1st drop down menu select "Main Logo"

2nd drop down menu select "site_logo.gif"

Radio button - select dimentions

Put in the pixel width and height: 139 by 52

Click Submit

Go back to "thymes", next to Prosilver under ACTIONS click REFRESH, then click Submit

( If you want, I'll experiment more with phpBB's headers. I'm more into web design than php programming.)

Heh... you're too much. The logo was there until the forum was upgraded to phpbb3 when I decided not to bother.

Just so you know, the error "failed to open stream: Permission denied" has absolutely nothing to do with the email templates. They did not CHMOD their .htpasswd file to make it writable by the server. If you get this error, it means you need to CHMOD 666 the file that is mentioned (in this case is .htpasswd).

...oh yeah, as you probably know, you DON'T have to resize your logo...you can use it as it is. I'm just learning this phpbb thing myself.
